About Me

My name is Meika (pronounced Mee-kuh) and I am a therapist specializing in helping women learn to manage anxiety, gain self confidence, and develop kinder and more meaningful relationships with themselves. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LH61521368) in Washington State. I attained my degree from Bastyr University in Seattle in 2022.

My approach is one of support, curiosity, and unconditional acceptance. I offer tangible skills that can provide immediate relief from intense anxiety, and support my clients as they explore what might be at the root of their suffering.

I believe that my clients are the experts on themselves. It’s my job to listen deeply, provide skills and education, and stand beside them as a supportive guide.

I teach skills that can decrease anxious feelings and increase the ability to tolerate the normal ups and downs of life. I support personal exploration that enables people to develop more meaningful and loving relationships with themselves.
